About the size of two refrigerators and weighing in at one ton, the 350 could store about 4 – 5 megabytes, depending on how it was calculated.

Stability AI’s New AI Powered Music Generator

London-based startup Stability AI, known for its open-source image-generating AI model Stable Diffusion, has released Stable Audio, an AI tool for creating "high-quality" music for commercial use.

This tool, which uses latent diffusion techniques, aims to provide greater control over the content and length of synthesized audio compared to previous generative music tools.

It can generate coherent songs up to about 90 seconds in length and was trained with a collection of around 800,000 songs from AudioSparx.

However, Stability AI has not announced plans to release the model behind Stable Audio in open source.
